82_a began with a simple observation: most cup covers are designed around a specific cup size. We wanted to create one object that could adapt to a much wider range of cups.

Its curved underside extends just 10 mm into the cup, allowing the cover to settle naturally across different rim diameters while providing a stable fit.

Made from stainless steel, 82_a creates a durable, easy-to-clean barrier between your drink and everyday surroundings, helping keep out dust, pet hair, insects and other unwanted particles.

The recessed upper surface also creates a small resting place for snacks, tea bags or everyday objects.
